Keep your bottle looking beautiful and lasting longer
A little regular care goes a long way in keeping your Wilfred Eco glass water bottle sparkling clean, fresh-tasting and long-lasting. Here’s how to do it quickly and easily, and our new plastic free cleaning brush makes it a breeze!
Rinse Daily
- Empty and rinse your bottle with warm water after each use
- Allow it to air dry completely with the lid off
- This prevents odours or mould from developing
Deep Clean Weekly
- Fill with warm soapy water and scrub thoroughly using our Wilfred Eco bottle cleaning brush
- The long handle and bristles easily reach the bottom of all our bottles sizes without scratching the glass
- Rinse thoroughly and let dry fullyÂ
Remove Stubborn Odours or Stains
- Add 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda and warm water - let soak for 30 minutes
- For lingering smells, add a few drops of lemon juice and place in sunlight for an hour
Caring for the Silicone Sleeve & Lid
- We have found with proper regular washing, there is no need to remove the silicone sleeve
- Clean the lid and seal separately - hand wash is recommended
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before putting back together

- Never freeze your bottle - water expansion can crack glass
- Never put sparkling water in your glass bottle with the lid on
- Hand washing extends the life of the silicone sleeve and bottle
